The Forgiving Father

   The parable today is more popularly known as “The Prodigal Son”.   I need not elaborate further what this is all about as I believe you have read and heard of this many times over.       To tell you honestly, there are actually times when I’m having a hard time accepting how the prodigal son can easily move back to the comfortable life after squandering half of his Father’s wealth. Pano ba magsimulang  lumikha ng isang obra? Sapat na ba na may panulat at papel,  panahon at inspirasyon? Sapat na ba na may angkin kang talino? Sa iba't ibang pagkakataon,  nakamit ko ang lahat nang ito.. Pero hindi lumabas nang tama  at angkop sa panlasa ko, o di kaya'y sa panlasa ng manunulat... Pero may isang gabing lubha akong malungkot... Hanggang sa namalayan ko ang aking sarili  na nakahawak na naman sa aking panulat Hinayaang dumaloy ang kung ano mang nagtutulak  sa aking mga kamay  para  ilapat ang bawat titik, ang bawat saloobin... Pero sa bawat taludtod, o talata nasiyahan ako... At ang bawat lungkot ay napalitan ng kasiyahan... At ang kasiyahan ay napalitan ng kapayapaan... Natagpuan ko na ang kasagutan.. “So, let’s say he loves you? What’s next? What are you going to do?” Gayle was caught off-guard and she has no words to respond. “ Will you move here in Prague to be with him? No!
